Marble Painting, Fort Building, and Panda Time!

We had a very exciting week full of painting, fort building, and enjoying the beautiful spring weather!

On Wednesday, the kids were delighted to discover that they could paint with magnetic wands and marbles.

Our fort builder activity stole the show this week. The kids dove right in and started building with enthusiasm! They built many different structures together, working on spacial awareness, problem solving, compromise and planning.

On Friday the kids worked on a top secret gift for Mother's Day! :)

We celebrated the end of our Valentines theme, by making sure to record our favorite memories -- pancakes, pajama day, Valentine's Day, and more. Each child got to put a special memento in their memory box.

The children love to create art for friends, family, and teachers!

We had fun with an animal matching game!

And building with blocks...

On Friday we had the fort builders out to play with again. They built camp fires and tents, and enjoyed roasting marshmallows, too!

Baby Mabel gets so much love from the kids!

We learned Unicorn Yoga this week. The kids are getting so good at doing all of the poses.

We read a new favorite book called Goodnight, Owl.

We had fun playing percussion instruments.

We also met our friend, Panda! Panda will be going home with each student for a night over the next couple of months.

On Fridays, we go to library story time. It's such a special treat!

Early spring has arrived! We all loved playing outside in the sunshine.

We are looking forward to another great week with your wonderful children.

Warmly,
Christine and Meghan
