Dinosaur Camp With Our YC!

Hello to everyone who participated in Dinosaur Camp this week! We were SO proud of your awesome kids this week as they came to the classroom for their first time. Here's a peek at what we did during our 4 short days together:

Everyone came in on Monday ready to PLAY and they had fun exploring the different areas of our classroom.

During their play time they were invited to come over to the project table where they made dinosaur collages on Monday, built marshmallow structures (in some cases they were dinosaurs) on Tuesday, buried dinosaurs in shaving cream on Wednesday, and made baking soda and vinegar volcanoes on Thursday.

After play time we all met on the carpet for some stories, songs and a dinosaur yoga. The dinosaur poses we did were Stegosaurus, Diplodocus, Ankylosaurus, Brachiosaurus and Spinosaurus. See if your camper can show any of them to you!

Our tummies were definitely ready for snack time!

We had (hot!) fun playing outside.

Thank you for sharing your kids with us this week. Like the dinosaur friends in one of our songs, we had ENORMOUS fun together!

We'll see you all in September!

Dinosaur Camp with the OC!

It made our hearts so happy to be back in the classroom with your sweet kids for Dinosaur Summer Camp this week.  We had a blast together! Here are a few photos from our week.

The kids picked up right where they left off and seemed so happy to be back with their peers in a familiar setting.

We excavated dinosaurs hidden in shaving cream.

We played and explored!

We built structures with marshmallows.

We played, we built and we created some more.

We had exploding volcanoes!

Thank you all for sharing your amazing children with us this week! We had so much fun playing together in person again!

Warmly,
Meghan and Christine
