End of January Fun in the OC! - Teachers Christine and Meghan

Even though it was a short week, we had a lot of fun in the Older Class playing collaboratively, working on writing our names, and learning cool new playground skills!

On Monday, the children filled their memory boxes with snowflakes and stickers to remember January by. Each child also remembered something fun about their time in class this month and Teacher Meghan took dictation.

On Wednesday, the children created a "name snowman"! It was a great way to practice writing their names!

The creation station and art easel is one of the busiest centers in our room! This crew is always busy making unique  art and beautiful paintings for their friends and families!

At the fine motor table, we had a fun snowflake matching game to try out!

The children had a great time making pies, cookies, and cakes with purple playdough this week!

We filled the tub with dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes!

Our little people town was on the building table!

We had pink glittery slime on the light table and the children LOVED it!

Baby Mabel gets lots of attention from these sweet children!

Play around the room is very exciting lately! There is a lot of imaginative play and tons of building happening at the carpet!

Teacher Meghan led the children on a guided relaxation during our circle time this week. It was such a nice way to rest after playtime together.

Teacher Christine read the children a silly story about a moose that is just a little too big to fit into the book!

The kids are working hard on their monkey bar skills and LOVE to swing, play chase and hot lava during recess!

Next week, we will start looking forward to Valentine's day! We are excited to see your wonderful children on Monday.

Warmly,

Christine and Meghan
