Pajamas and Pancakes in the OC - Teacher Meghan

We had an awesome but short week with your kids. The highlight of the week was definitely pajama day!

At the water table this week we had all the fixings for hot chocolate. Cloud dough was mixed with hot cocoa, sprinkles and marshmallows and was perfect for making a variety of chocolate treats!

At the light table we had blue slime, film canisters, scissors and dinosaurs.

At the building table we had a little people village set up.

Friends played with kittens and mittens on the flannel board and dipped their brushes in purple, pink and red paint at the easels.

Play dough was squished and smooshed all week long.

Friends were engaged with puzzles, a magnetic marble run, dinosaurs, books and boats.

On Monday the kids drew black line self-portraits for their portfolios. It was fun to see their growth in this area over the past few months.

On Monday the kids added items to their memory boxes for January. A icicle ornament and a polar bear sticker were added to help them remember the fun we shared this month.

On Wednesday we celebrated pajama day. Many of the kids brought their favorite stuffy to join in the fun.

The kids were AMAZING chefs and worked together to make delicious pancakes.

They enjoyed eating them as much as making them!

The kids stuffies joined in play and got tours of the room.

Many of the kids made crowns, bracelets and necklaces for their stuffed animals.

These stuffies loved watching the kids in action.

During circle time we listened to a hilarious book called "Dude" and "If You Give a Pig a Pancake".  We celebrated a birthday and danced with our stuffed animals.

At recess we enjoyed the cold crisp weather.

We had such a fun week with your kids and loved celebrating pajama day with them.
See you on Monday,
Meghan and Christine
