Pajama Day, Stuffies and more fun in the OC-Teachers Jelena and Lisa

We started the week off in our cozy, colorful jammies with stuffies in tow. We made some accessories like capes, beaded bracelets, necklaces or headbands for our stuffies to wear. The stuffies joined us for story time too!

On Wednesday, the students measured and stirred a magical potion of Borax and hot water to make crystals on shaped pipe cleaners. The experiments sat in the window over night and by Friday we got to see the beautiful results of their efforts!

In preparation for next week we decorated our Valentine’s Day bags to be ready for Monday!

We had pretty flowers, vases, rice and glittery hearts in our texture table.

Colorful gems, cups and little baskets were in our tinted water table for lots of warm, sudsy, wet enjoyment.

Lots of activity at the building table and the fine motor table!

We made patterns with heart candies and counted buttons at the light table!

There were puppet shows to attend, trucks to drive, and dressing up to be done!

Unfortunately, there was a long line at the Vet/Human doctors office, but all turned out well as everyone was seen and cared for by our loving staff!

The Kitty game was out for friends to play. There was beautiful red play dough, painting, and Valentine’s Day themed heart making at various tables throughout the room.

We read lots of stories, sang and danced; during Friday Friendship Circle we answered the question “What is something you love to do?”

And of course, outdoor time.

We had a super week! Everyone was so busy.
We are looking forward to doing our Valentine’s exchange on Monday!
See you soon,
Teachers Jelena and Lisa
